What is Weighted Bot and Fraud Scoring Engine?
We build a scoring system that separates real visitors from automated ones, using weighted rules instead of flat counts. Rules that fire on everyone score nothing and are removed. We measure a known-good visitor before and after, so you can see the difference. We also detect headless browsers and fake crawlers, read how a captcha was solved, and set clear rule precedence and thresholds.
What does Weighted Bot and Fraud Scoring Engine involve?
Weighted scoring engine replacing flat per-rule increments, with rules that can never not fire identified and removed rather than reweighted, banding and risk-tier rendering verified against the live distribution, and device-fingerprint payloads keyed on the authoritative identifier inside the structured payload. Headless-browser and crawler fingerprinting checks user agents server side against a maintained crawler-detection library, so a bot cannot simply declare itself human. A browser-side bot check adds signals such as the headless flag, plugin count, browser timezone against IP timezone, and hour of day. Captcha solve behavior is read from solve time and from whether the challenge was solved before it was fully in view. Rule precedence checks the end user's own settings first and the site owner's rules second. Scores are normalized to a 1-10 scale in low, medium and high bands. The step-up verification threshold is guarded against missing or negative values, with a per-site lockout after repeated failures. Automated post-deploy verification drives a real browser and re-runs every rule against the deployed code. A change is called done only after three identical runs.
